Services We Offer

Minimally Invasive Surgery

Minimally invasive surgery is available for spaying, preventing gastric bloat, removal of pericardium (the lining around the heart), and the removal of lung tissue. Our minimally invasive surgical techniques are some of the most advanced in the country and often are preferred over more invasive procedures. Visit our Surgical Endoscopy section for more details about our minimally invasive expertise.

Wound Care And Reconstruction

Bite wounds, punctures, and skin loss from trauma are commonly seen veterinary issues. We perform corrective and reconstructive surgery with the goal of quickly returning your pet to their best possible function with the best possible cosmetic results.

Abdominal Surgery

We have expertise to perform surgery on each organ in the abdominal cavity, including the stomach, kidneys, liver, small and large intestines, gallbladder, spleen, and pancreas.

Thoracic Surgery

Most commonly, we perform thoracic surgery to treat conditions of the lungs, chest wall, and diaphragm.

Upper Airway Surgery

Some pets, especially certain breeds of dog like bulldogs and Pekingese, can be affected by conditions that diminish their ability to breath. Upper airway surgery often can help alleviate some of these issues and give your pet a higher quality of life.

Head And Neck Surgery

In concert with our Dermatology service, we perform surgeries to treat many different types of ear diseases and conditions of the mouth and nose.

Neurosurgery

Working hand-in-hand with our Neurology specialists, we can perform procedures to treat disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and vertebrae.

Surgical Oncology

Surgical oncology focuses specifically on the surgical management of cancer. This can involve diagnostic biopsies and surgical removal of tumors.

Reproductive Surgery

We often perform surgeries for uterine conditions (infection, delivery troubles during pregnancy) and problems with genitalia.
