Open for emergencies and critical care 24/7

In response to COVID-19, our services are on limited function status and our check-in process has changed. Emergency and critical care services are available 24/7.

Call ahead (970) 297-5000 to help us prepare for your arrival. Similar to an emergency or intensive care unit for humans, we provide 24-hour care for critically ill, injured, hospitalized, and postoperative animals. Our hospital is certified as a Level 1 Veterinary Trauma Center by the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society.

 Stray Animal Policy


Stray animal policy

If you find a stray animal, please call the
Larimer Humane Society, 3501 E​. 74th St., Loveland, (Map​​), (970) 226-3647.

Please DO NOT bring stray animals to the hospital during these hours:
Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday-Sunday 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The hospital will accept stray animals when the Humane Society is closed:
Monday-Friday 6 p.m.-8 a.m.
Saturday-Sunday 4 p.m.-8 a.m.​​​
