What is Livestock Medicine & Surgery?

Our Livestock Medicine and Surgery services provide routine veterinary care and highly specialized diagnostics, medical, and surgical treatment for cattle, sheep, goats, alpacas, llamas, pigs, and wild ruminants. We care for your production, show, and companion livestock, as well as support certain wildlife.

We have the ability to provide intensive care for critically ill, acute, and emergency cases 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

We are directly supported by specialists in internal medicine, srgery, and theriogenology (animal reproduction). We consult with specialists in Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Oncology, and Diagnostic Imaging to provide the best care possible for your livestock. Our clients come to us by both referral and direct appointments.

How Much Does It Cost?

The cost of your visit will vary greatly, depending on the type of treatment and severity of the condition. Our charges are competitive with other livestock medicine and surgery services. Since every case is unique, it is best to speak with your veterinarian about the variables and cost ranges present for your particular case. We are dedicated to finding the best treatment options that consider the economic and production aspects of your animals. Your veterinarian will always provide a fee estimate for you at your appointment. Visit the hospitals' Financial Information page for general payment information.
