​We have veterinary cardiologists to provide diagnostic and therapeutic expertise for horses with heart murmurs, cardiac rhythm abnormalities, heart failure, congenital malformations of the heart, poor performance and collapse. In addition we can offer management advice for owners and trainers of horses with cardiovascular abnormalities.

​Our dermatologists provide diagnosis and treatment for skin problems, allergies, and ear disease (otology) in your horse.

​Our veterinary ophthalmologists specialize in vision care and the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the eye. We see patients for the diagnosis and treatment of ocular abnormalities ranging from cancer to infection to vision issues.

​The Equine Field Service provides both primary and 24-hour emergency care for equine patients in Northern Colorado. The service has two fully equipped ambulatory vehicles, including portable digital radiography (x-ray), and ultrasound technology.

sports medicine

​The Equine Sports Medicine service offers support to the equine athlete with the latest therapeutic, diagnostic, and rehabilitation techniques from birth through adolescence, competition, injury, rehabilitation, and retirement.
