Completed in the late 1970s as a world-class facility of its day, the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital was designed at a time when many of today's veterinary specialties did not exist, treatment and diagnostic procedures that have become commonplace had yet to be imagined, and animals were routinely hospitalized for prolonged periods of time to receive their care.
The current hospital facility no longer matches the quality and type of care our experts can provide. Nor does our facility accommodate our client/patient-centered care model, where pet families play an integral role in their pet's care and desire to be side by side with their pet during treatment, when possible.

Our goal is to transform the current facility so that we can continue to drive advancement in veterinary medicine that will help countless pets and their families in the future. Specifically, the first phase of renovating the CSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital will create:
A state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit
An ultramodern Urgent Care Center
A fully equipped Pharmacy
Additional phases of the campaign will improve all areas of our hospital serving animal patients, large and small.
Donations will be matched $1 for $1 for the first phase of this campaign. Make a gift today!
