What is Clinical Pathology?
Clinical pathology supports the diagnosis of disease using laboratory testing of blood and other bodily fluids and tissues, and microscopic evaluation of individual cells. Our board-certified veterinary clinical pathologists, technologists, technicians, and support staff provide laboratory results quickly, efficiently, and thoughtfully. Our work supports research, clinicians, referring veterinarians, and students in diagnosing and treating many animal species.

Who Do We Serve?

We provide services to veterinary practices, including the Colorado State University Veterinary Teaching Hospital, and researchers from CSU and elsewhere.

What Tests Do We Offer?

We offer testing on all animal species in the areas of hematology, biochemistry, cytology, immunocytochemical staining, cytochemical staining, immunofixation, and urinalysis. Learn more about the different tests we offer.

If you are unsure what test to submit, contact us at (970) 297-1290 or clinpath@colostate.edu.
