The Argus Institute provides free grief counseling relating to pet loss and support to those making end-of-life decisions for their pets. Founded in 1984, our unique program is one of the longest standing, most comprehensive programs of its kind. Our clinical counselors offer support to people who are facing difficult decisions regarding their pets’ health and help them manage the challenges of caring for a sick animal.

When the goal of a pet’s medical treatment shifts from pursuing a cure to providing comfort, pet owners may consider caring for a companion animal at home – with help from a pet hospice program. Hospice care is for pets that have three months or less to live. It emphasizes pain management and end-of-life care in the comfort of home.
We love our animals and, for many of us, our pets are part of our families. When our pets become ill or are aging, we are often faced with one of the most difficult decisions—an end-of-life decision. Defining quality of life for you and for them is imperative in making this decision. This webinar is designed to empower you in making the right decision for your pet and for your family.
Contributing a brick to the Path of Honor creates a permanent legacy commemorating the meaningful relationship you've shared with a companion animal or special person. In addition, your donation helps support the Argus Institute. If you'd like to honor someone special, consider a brick in the Path of Honor. Bricks ordered by June 30 will be installed in the fall of 2016.
