"I really like, too, that at CSU in the Combined Residency/PhD program veterinarians like myself work with PhD students from other backgrounds and labs like this one; and everyone brings something different and it’s just a great environment to learn in and learn from each other."

Karen is part of the Combined PhD Program with Anatomic Pathology Residency program.

So, that’s the cool part: for the grind that’s involved, there a moments you realize that you’re the first person to see something."
