Derek Van Uffelen earned a scholarship as part of the Freshman Scholars Program and worked on fixation devices that hold dogs and cats in place during cancer treatment.
CVMBS offers nearly $1.5 million in scholarships each year, awarding close to 400 scholarships annually to deserving students. Qualifications for applications vary, and we encourage you to check out which scholarships are available to you.
Outstanding CVMBS students are eligible for a variety of scholarships, some that include membership to professional organizations and societies. These awards can be both merit-based and need-based. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine students can apply for program-specific awards that are both CVMBS-based and non-CVMBS based.
There are many scholarship opportunities open to the CSU community as a whole. Check out the Student Financial Services website for more information on how to apply for these awards.
For more information about scholarships and awards, please check back on this page in Fall 2014. We will have additional information to share at that time.
