Updates for Colleges
Ceremonies will be held May 13, 14, and 15, 2016
Order your regalia (cap & gown) in advance via the Commencement homepage. Go to www.commencement.colostate.edu, and click Get Your Cap & Gown. Order deadline is Sunday, April 3. Students, except for doctoral candidates, keep their caps and tassels.
Faculty orders are coordinated by each college office. Colleges or departments work directly with the supplier, Unique Recognition, to place faculty orders by using the online form at the end of this document. The deadline for ordering faculty/courtesy regalia online is Friday, April 1, 2016.
Faculty masters or doctorate rental unit $48.00
Faculty cap, gown, and tassel only rental $22.00
Faculty hood only rental $26.00
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, May 11, 12, and 13, 2016 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Moby C-Wing (east side of the Moby Complex), Intramural Gym.
Additionally, regalia may be picked up one hour prior to their ceremony at their ceremony site, until 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 15. No regalia, student or faculty, may be picked up after 10 a.m. Sunday, May 15.
Return of regalia will be immediately after the ceremony to Moby C-Wing. We are working to see if an additional drop off location can be provided in the Lory Student Center but at this time this has not been confirmed. Please note that there may be a charge for late returns. Any late returns should be sent directly to:

Graduates receive a diploma cover at Commencement. The actual diplomas will be mailed to graduates six to eight weeks after commencement. For those unable to attend the ceremonies, diploma covers are available in the Registrar’s Office (at no charge). Diploma covers can be mailed by calling 491-7159; the postage cost is $5.00 per cover for U.S. mailings.
Announcements and Class Ring Sales
Please note: We are awaiting confirmation on the vendors that will be available at the Grand Fair and Flea Market in mid-February. This is the best information we currenly have at this time and will provide updates when further details are available.
Representatives from CB Grad Announcements (announcements) and Josten’s (class rings) will be present on February 16, 17 and 18 (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), 10 a.m.- 3 p.m. in the Lory Student Center Flea Market area (outside the University Bookstore) to take advanced, customized orders. After February 18, announcement orders may be placed at www.cbgrad.com or by calling 800-433-0296. Customized orders are returned within seven days of being ordered. The Grad Fair itself, sponsored by the Bookstore, will be one day only – Wednesday, February 17 (Lower Level of the Bookstore).
Generic announcements (non-personalized announcements) may be purchased at the University Bookstore any time.
Spring 2016 commencement ceremonies are at two venues—Lory Student Center and Moby Arena. Please use the guidelines below to suggest parking options for families and guests. Construction on campus will impact available parking, particularly on Friday. For the most up to date announcements regarding parking and construction impact please check the CSU construction updates website.
Friday Before 4 p.m.
FREE PARKING is available in Moby Arena Lot 195 (grid location A – 6 on the CSU Campus Parking Map ) or in Lot 240 (grid location E-11 on the CSU Campus Parking Map). A free shuttle, "Around the Horn," travels to the Lory Student Center every 10 minutes from the Moby Arena lot.
There is paid parking in the pay-by-plate spaces in Lot 310, which is located north of the Lory Student Center. See grid location I - 5 on the CSU Campus Parking Map. The pay-by-plate spaces are located in the west half of Lot 310 (colored orange with a picture of a clock on the parking map). There are also pay-by-plate spaces in Lot 425, which is located due west of the Morgan Library (grid location H – 8.5 on the campus map). The pay-by-plate spaces are located in the south half of Lot 425 (colored orange with a picture of a clock on the parking map). Meter rates are $1.25 an hour.

FREE PARKING is available in all lots mentioned above, as Saturday is not a regular university business day.
