- Provide guidance to departments on process
- Coordinate with OEO for the following:
- Approval of search committee members
- Approval of job announcements (short/long)
- Request to interview
- Request to hire
- Completion of Compliance forms
Post Doc and Research Associate Open Pools
- Coordinate annual renewal of pools with departments
Alternative Appointment Request Forms
- Review for content and ensure all documents are received
- Confirm exemption approval with HR Officer
- Sign as OEO Coordinator and obtain Dean’s signature
- Provide copy to HR Officer
- Forward to OEO for approval
- Notify departments of final outcome
Off-cycle Merit Increase Forms (Salary adjustment forms)
- Confirm exemption approval with HR Officer
- Forward to Thom for budgetary review
- Obtain Dean’s signature
- Provide copy to HR Officer
- Forward to Provost Office for approval
- Notify departments of final outcome

- New hires: Special Faculty, Admin Professional, State Classified, Non-student hourly
- Promotions: Admin Professional, State Classified, Non-student hourly
- Change of Status: Post Doc to Special Faculty or Admin Professional; State Classified to Admin Professional; Non-Student to State Classified; Student to Non-student; Non-student hourly extension requests to HR
- Salary Increases: Faculty, Admin Professional, Post Doc, State Classified, Non-student hourly
- FTE Increases: Faculty, Admin Professional, Post Doc, State Classified
Background Checks
NOTE: Greg should be copied on all requests submitted by departments
- Can answer general questions departments may have
State Classified Evaluations (reviews Oracle for delinquent entries)
