This $1.525 million dollar project is funded in part with WICHE (Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education) dollars and the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. The pharmacy remodel will provide a new clinician/student/pharmacist window and work station, a new rack system and new ceiling, flooring, and a fresh coat of paint. The Critical Care Unit, which will be completed in May 2013, will be relocated from its current location to the space previously occupied by Clinical Pathology. The space will be opened up for new and larger treatment area, triage, animal cages and oxygen cages, and a new student lab.

​Due to the fire in late July 2011, the Equine Reproductive Lab at Foothills Campus was entirely destroyed. The fire damaged the building, lab equipment, offices, and genetic material. Efforts are underway to provide transition facilities to house the programs while a new lab is being designed and constructed. All transition facilities will be completed and operational prior to the breeding season in January 2012. A permanent building is planned to be completed before the following breeding season in January 2013. The Equine Reproduction Program continues to operate due to the continued efforts of faculty, staff, and students at CSU. Support the rebuilding of the ERL.
