It’s difficult to imagine the College without her, but Janice Brown officially retired from the College effective March 1, 2012. Congratulations to Janice, and a big THANK YOU for all her service. Dr. Mark Stetter asked Janice to continue her service to the College to assist in the transition of the Dean’s position. Janice graciously accepted and will be back with the College in a part-time capacity beginning April 1, 2012 (I am sure there isn’t a correlation between April Fool's Day and her first day back!) Having her back gives us all a bit of comfort for a smooth transition of the College’s leadership.

 

I would like to introduce the new HR Generalist (South Campus) for the College. Christy Conrad comes to the College from The Cathedral Home for Children where she was the Human Resources Director for 200 employees. Christy holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Wyoming and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Sociology, emphasis in Administration of Justice, Political Science and Law from the University of Wyoming. This is a critical position for the College as our success has grown on South Campus and our people deserve a focused HR position to meet their needs. She will begin her service on April 16, 2012. Her primary office will be located in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, room A102. She will be in the Diagnostic Laboratory on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, 1-5 pm and the remainder of the week in the VTH. The search committee for the CVMBS Senior HR Officer position has narrowed the candidate list down to eight highly qualified employees.
