​Knowing the financial hardships facing today's veterinary students, Dr. Steven Brown and his wife, Marian, wanted to help lessen the burden by working with Dr. Brown's former classmates to establish the DVM Class of 1974 Scholarship. Now, his classmates are honoring Dr. Brown, who passed away on Feb. 3, 2012, by renaming the scholarship he created to the DVM Class of 1974, Steven R. Brown Memorial Scholarship.
