Computer Support

Faculty computers, purchased by the department, are eligible for replacement when the computer is at least 4 years old and non-servicable by the College IT Services Group.
Software

Adobe Acrobat - An Adobe Acrobat Professional license will be purchased for faculty upon request (one license per faculty member). The software will be installed on the faculty member's department supported computer system.
Adobe Photoshop - A faculty member may request the department purchase of an Adobe Photoshop license with a one page justification for its usage. The software will be installed on the faculty member's department supported computer system.
Camtasia Studio - Camtasia Studio may be purchased for teaching faculty using WebCT. The software will be installed on the faculty member's department supported computer system.
Software license purchases for laboratory computers are the responsibility of the PI.
Facility Repair/Maintenance

The department follows the University policy that when a lab is vacated, the principal investigator for the lab must ensure that chemical wastes are disposed of appropriately at the time of departure.
CSU Facilities Management is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all equipment directly attached to a building's structure.
Safety issues are the responsibility of CSU Facilities Management

Autoclaves & Hoods are supported by department funds and will continue to be supported in all facilities department faculty are located.
