​There are a wide variety of assistantships available to Health Physics students. While several are listed here this is not meant to be a complete list of funding opportunities. Many assistance programs post their criteria sometime in October or November each year for the following award year. Most applications are due mid-January of each year. However, it is prudent to start early and check deadlines for any opportunity you are seeking.​

​​Graduate Directed Energy (DE) Scholarships

These graduate scholarships are funded by the High Energy Laser Joint Technology Office and by the Directed Energy Professional Society (DEPS). Details, including application instructions are available on the DEPS web site.

Training Grant

The CSU Health Physics program is part of the Mountain and Plains Education and Research Center (MAP ERC). One or two new Health Physics Masters students are funded each academic year. Apply early for admission to take advantage of this competitive opportunity.
