Toxicology Admission Requirements

Core Requirements for Admission:

  • Bachelor's degree from regionally accredited institution

  • Resume or Curriculum Vitae

  • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 from most recent/highest college-level degree for regular admission

  • One official transcript from all undergraduate and graduate institutions attended (Note: CSU transcripts are not required).  International students: please read special requirements below

  • Written statement of background, interests, motivation and goals

  • Three (3) letters of recommendation from academic or professional sources

  • GRE exam is NOT required

International Students Only:

  • TOEFL/IELTS Scores (within the last three (3) years)
    • The minimum TOEFL score for admission without condition: 550 (paper based); or 80 (internet based)
    • The minimum IELTS score for unconditional admission without condition is 6.5​

TOEFL/IELTS SCORES - Request that TOEFL examination scores be reported from ETS to Colorado State University.  The institution code is 4075.  Photocopies will not be accepted.


​Additional Toxicology Admission Requirements

Although not required, course work in Bio-Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Physiology is highly recommended
