Biography

Dr. Kato’s research is focused on DNA damage and repair after environmental stress including ionizing radiation, ultraviolet light, heat, mutagenic and carcinogenic compounds. Particle radiation therapy radiobiology research, small animal radiobiology research, and phytochemical research are also conducted with international collaborations.
