Dr. Wayne McIlwraith, a Colorado State University Distinguished Professor and world-renowned equine orthopaedic surgeon, recently received one of the highest honors in his field from the Academy of Surgical Research.

​Dr. Mininder S. Kocher of Harvard presented "Management of Human Angular Limb Deformities and Osteochondrosis," and discussed the connection between ORC equine sports medicine research and human medicine.

​Drs. McIlwraith, Kawcak and Frisbie, and ORC partner and Pegasus Thoroughbred Rehabilitation and Training Center owner Dr. Mark Dedomenico recently attended the Thoroughbred Owners of California conference on Exercise Induced Pulmonary Hemorrhage to discuss key issues in musculoskeletal injury and disease.
