CVMBS Students in our Gross Anatomy Class

  Undergraduate students in the Gross Anatomy course at CSU. The Department of Biomedical Sciences uses high-tech virtual instruction, as well as traditional hands-on education in human and animal anatomy.

Department of Biomedical Sciences

​The Department of Biomedical Sciences in the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences is a major locus for biomedical education from undergraduate through postdocto​rate and for translational biomedical research for Colorado State University. BMS houses more than 30 specialty laboratories. Faculty members' interests run the gamut from reproductive biology and endocrinology to neurotransmitters and molecular signal transduction.

  • Dijana, dentistry, one year mspro
    She was an Olympic runner and collegiate track star. Now Bosnian native Dijana Elmejdoubi is using our one-year master’s degree program in her dash to a new career in dentistry. “This program has made me fall in love with science all over again,” she says.

    We’re celebrating the one-year anniversary of the Laramie Foothills Bison Conservation Herd on public lands in northern Colorado. The herd has a hoof-hold and already is contributing heirloom genetics to conservation projects nationwide.​

    High-schoolers from across the country are attending CSU’s first Anatomy Camp, which offers a rare chance to learn human anatomy by examining cadavers and organs. The camp is a sign of things to come as plans begin for a new Health Education Outreach Center.​
