An undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences prepares students for a wide variety of opportunities which have a basis in cellular and molecular biology, human/animal anatomy and physiology. Careers in the biomedical sciences are tremendous and expanding daily.
Employment opportunities include positions in laboratory research at the federal level, in institutions of higher education, and in the private sector. In particular, exciting opportunities exist in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and other biomedical and health-related areas to include all specialties in human and veterinary medicine. Combinations of research and teaching opportunities also are available.
BMS students at CSU may choose many different paths after graduation. We pride ourselves in the success we've had at helping our students get admitted to medical or professional school; obtain research and industry positions; or find success pursuing international service work or other career fields.
