​Typical Day at Camp

  • 6:30-7:30 a.m.: Breakfast
  • 8-10 a.m.: Lecture
  • 10-11 a.m.: Computer-based cross-sectional anatomy
  • 11 a.m.-12 p.m.: Lunch
  • 12-2 p.m.: Cadaver lab
  • 2-4 p.m.: Dissection/anatomy model labs
  • 4-5 p.m.: Break
  • 5-6 p.m.: Dinner
  • 6-9 p.m.: Group activities
  • 9-10:30 p.m.: Free time in residence hall
  • 10:30 p.m.: Lights out

Dissections and Labs

  • Dissections (pig heart, sheep brains)
  • Computer-based cross-sectional anatomy
  • Virtual human dissector
  • Cadaver lab (two-to-one cadaver ratio)
  • Suture clinic
  • Anatomy clay models
