The College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences is holding its 14th Annual CVMBS Research Day on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013, at the Hilton Fort Collins.
The annual symposium showcases cutting-edge student research and provides an opportunity for local researchers and scientists to connect, enhancing collaborations and communication between basic and clinical researchers alike.
The symposium begins at noon with a keynote address from Dr. Mark Zabel, an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Pathology, and winner of the Pfizer Research Award. Poster and oral presentations in basic and clinical sciences by graduate students, veterinary students, veterinary residents, postdoctoral fellows and interns will follow. As in previous years, outstanding presenters will receive awards of excellence at the 5:30 p.m. awards ceremony.
